Community Enhancement Programme

The Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development. Applications are now invited for CEP 2021, which offers:

  • Grants towards projects or equipment enhancing facilities
  • One-off grants towards costs associated with reopening of a community facility or the sustainability of a facility
  • Small grants of up to a maximum of € 1,000
  • Larger grants €1,000 - €4,000 which must address priorities of the LECP
  • Only one application is accepted from each Community Group
  • Applications must relate to a single project
  • Public realm, town parks and streetscaping improvements – especially in relation to older people, children and young people are encouraged

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Locally based community and voluntary groups
  • Not for Profit Organisations

Closing date for applications is 4pm on Wednesday 30th June 2021
