irl - Community-based Heritage Grants Scheme 2015

The Heritage Council is now open for Grants under their Community-based Heritage Grants Scheme for 2015. The purpose of the scheme is to support community-based projects that contribute to one or more of the following themes:

(1) Researching the heritage of towns, villages and landscapes

(2) Enhancing, through good management practice, the heritage of towns, villages and landscapes and

(3) Raising awareness of the heritage of towns, villages and landscapes for inhabitants and visitors.

Work has to be completed by November 20, 2015. Applicants compete with applicants from all over the country.

Applications to the Community-based Heritage Grants Scheme can only be made using the on-line application system on the Heritage Council website http://www.heritagecouncil.ie/grants/grants/by 5:00 on Friday the 20th of March 2015.
