GritLeitrim County Council will make available grit at 36 locations throughout the county to enable people in the community to use it to treat local roads, hills etc, that the Council may never get to due to demand on resources. They will not be working for Leitrim County Council when spreading this grit. Salt Bins Leitrim County Council have introduced a Purchase a Salt Bin Scheme where residents, associations and businesses can purchase a salt bin and salt for their housing estates or business premises from the County Council. They will be charged a nominal fee. Depending on resources at the time, salt may be re filled and be made available to the residents at the depot for a nominal fee.
