The Committee which was established in 1998 met quarterly during the year to agree and monitor the Rural Water Programme. The Committee consists of three County Councillors, two representatives from the Group Water Scheme Section, Representatives from the Irish Farmers Association and Irish Countrywomen’s Association the Council’s Liaison Officer and a Technical Representative.
