Mission Statement

To provide a high-quality welcoming, modern, responsive and inclusive library service for all, which fosters reading, provides information and supports learning, culture and recreation.

The Library service is funded and operated by Leitrim County Council through its Environment, Emergency and Cultural Services Directorship. Leitrim County Library service was set up in 1931. Today the Library service has nine fully automated branches. Services include
