Do you want to do a course in Carrick on Shannon? Leitrim Third level Initiative is a project whereby courses are offered in Leitrim from a range of colleges. The courses are linked to job skills and are identified with the help of local business and prospective students. Leitrim Third Level Initiative began in 2004 offering the first MBA in the North West in conjunction with Fermanagh College and John Moore College in Liverpool. Lectures are delivered in either the County Council Offices, the Dock or other facilities in the town centre. Courses on offer in 2011 in Carrick on Shannon are:

Higher Certificate in Business Studies - 2 nights/week, 6- 10pm, €2,100 p.a

Funding Opportunities
RoLe Skillnet may be able to assist with funding with funding for courses with an asterisk *. If you are working in the private sector or in your own business you may be eligible for 30% funding towards these courses. RoLe Skillnet can be contacted on 071-9622504 or info@roleskillnet.com. If you are considered eligible for such funding from RoLe Skillnet, payment for the course should be made to RoLe Skillnet who will in turn pay the college.
RoLe Skillnet may also be able to assist people who are unemployed also.
