The Leitrim Equation Traditional Music Development Programme was devised to promote and develop traditional music in Leitrim and to celebrate the rich tradition of music and song in the county. As part of a residential programme, Leitrim County Council Arts Office invited the country’s most respected and talented traditional music groups to spend time in the county with musicians and groups in informal settings culminating in the recording of a CD of music reflecting the experiences of the residency.
