Proposed Re-naming of Lower Main Street, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim.

Leitrim County Council hereby gives notice that it is proposed to conduct a Plebiscite to establish the consent of eligible electors to change the name of the street known as Lower Main Street to Sráid Sheáin Mhic Dhiarmada.  In accordance with Section 78 of the Local Government Act 1946, Section 53 of the Local Government Act 1955, and the Local Government (Changing of Place Names Regulations) 1956 (as amended by Section 67 of Local Government Act 1994) notice is hereby given that a list of qualified electors, for the purposes of this proposal, has been prepared and is now available for inspection at Leitrim County Council Offices, Áras-an-Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and at the Manorhamilton Branch Library.

Any objections regarding the list of qualified electors must be made in writing to the Administrative Officer, Corporate Services, Leitrim County Council, Áras-an-Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co.
