Notice of Intention to Make Bye–Laws
Notice is herby given that Leitrim County Council intends to make Bye-Laws in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the Control of Horses Act,1996 (No. 37 of 1996) and the Local Government Act 2001 ( No 37 of 2001) to control the keeping, riding or driving of horses in a public place. Such-bye laws shall include provision for payment of a fixed penalty as an alternative to a prosecution.
The Draft Bye Laws will be available for inspection during normal working hours for a period of one month from 16th November, 2012 in the offices of Leitrim County Council at:
· Aras an Chontae, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim
· Area Office, Enniskillen Road, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim
· Area Office, Park Lane House, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim
