Community & Voluntary Sector Grants Scheme 2010
Leitrim County Council invites community and voluntary organisations to make applications for support under the Community & Voluntary Sector Grants Scheme 2010
This scheme is divided into two categories:
Category A. - Community infrastructure/development initiatives.
Support of up to €5,000 will be given under this category towards the provision and enhancement of community infrastructure and community development initiatives which add to the quality of life of all sectors of the community and will include the provision of new, and/or improvements to, existing projects e,g. small local infrastructural projects, community enterprise projects, social and recreational facilities/opportunities, tourism related projects, etc.
Grants will not exceed 50% of the total cost of the project.
Category B. – Community based events/activities.
This category will provide support of between €250 - €600 to community based events/activities e. g community festivals, agricultural shows, etc.
Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 4.00 pm on Wednesday 17th February 2010.
