The delivery of high quality services, tailored to meet the needs of all our customers, is one of Leitrim County Council’s core objectives – this quality service includes not only the level and quality of service given to our customers, but also the quality of our decision making processes, the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, the standard of our facilities and our ability to adapt in an ever-changing and increasingly complex environment. The recent establishment of the Change Management Unit, with a specific focus on Customer Service, is a practical example of our commitment to improved customer services.
We have expanded this Customer Service focus through the establishment of a dedicated Customer Care/Reception Desk in our main offices at Áras an Chontae, Carrick on Shannon and, in the longer term, the development of a more comprehensive Customer Service Centre in Manorhamilton. Comment Cards are available in all our Public Offices, and via our website, and we propose to carry out further Customer Service Surveys as a means of obtaining feedback and the views of our customers in relation to services provided and areas for improvement.
