In 2018, the Communities Enhancement Programme has replaced RAPID

RAPID National Programme in 2017 allocated €64,500 to each local authority in the country, to fund capital projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents in disadvantaged urban areas.
In County Leitrim, urban areas are defined as Carrick on Shannon, Manorhamilton, Ballinamore, Kinlough, Drumshanbo, Mohill and Dromahair.
