Leitrim County Council seeks properties to rent under the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) or Long-Term Leasing Scheme.
Leitrim County Council is currently seeking properties to rent in Carrick-on-Shannon, Ballinamore, Drumshanbo, Carrigallen and Manorhamilton, County Leitrim under the RAS or Long Term Leasing Scheme.
Three Bedroom Family Type Dwellings are required for all locations with a requirement for One / Two Bedroom apartments / dwellings in Carrick-on-Shannon. Properties must be located in the above locations within close proximity to services and amenities. In this regard, consideration will not be given to single instance dwellings in rural locations. The benefits of RAS or Long Term Leasing for the Landlord / Owner of the Property are as outlined below:
· Guaranteed Rent in line with the current Market Rents;
· No Vacant Periods for up to 4/5 Years (RAS);
· Payment will continue regardless of vacancy periods (Long Term Leasing);
· No change of Tenancy or advertising costs;
· No rental collection on your part.
Properties for consideration must be furnished and comply with the minimum standards for private rented accommodation. Evidence of compliance with all relevant property charges must also be provided. If you have a property / properties available and are interested in participating in RAS or Long Term Leasing please complete an Expression of Interest Form with details in relation to the property address, description of property type, number of bedrooms, living accommodation etc., estimated market rent sought for the property and your own contact details and Submit completed Form to the Senior Executive Officer, Housing and Corporate Services, Áras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim on or before Friday 11th September, 2015.
